Mk3, 130k miles, Cabrio interior.

Mk1 snowflakes, looks good on everything. Although dated on a mk3

How is the cabrio interior different?

But does it have a Cabrio door chime?

Honestly, I’m not super up to speed on Golfs. It’s got a dimple dash and a swapped cluster from a cabrio, plus much better leather seats.

No door chime at all, actually

I kind of love them. I’m kind if torn on keeping them on or swapping for steelies since I live in a sketchier area when I’m at school. It needs new tires anyways.

As an 80’s wheel on a 90’s Car I doubt they are on the short list to steal and flip. I think they are my favorite wheel.

I’m jealous.

My favourite mk2/3 mod is the short throw shifter bracket and a kamei golf ball.. For under $50 it totally changes the car.

Water resistant, or moldy?

Crackheads, man.

Yeah, they don’t go off lists.

You mean like this one? Saw it at a meet a few weeks ago.

I do like the golf ball knob. But so far I’m digging the long throw shifter- this car is me learning stick, and I feel like a longer throw (it’s not vague) is better to learn on.

Man, that is brutal.

I was looking at the car in the picture thinking “I wonder if it’s a real Harlequin” when I noticed the license plate. I guess the owner gets asked a lot.

It was for sure original. There was a decent amount of wear and tear, good bit of sun fade on the roof

This is the kit I’ve always used;

I never bothered with the bushings- just the lever. Easy to install and has three different adjustments.
I used to use a pipe cutter and thread die to shorten the actual shift rod as well..
